My name is Bob Burger and I am owner and head chef of AndermansKeuken. When I was young, I was introduced to the catering industry by working as a dishwasher. At 15, I was already preparing steak stroganoff. I found my passion for the catering industry by helping my mother in the kitchen. I completed my basic training at the Promenade hotel as an independent working chef. I then worked in several restaurants, at a fish wholesaler and lobster parks. I also had my own pate factory and worked as an assistant manager at the largest construction size in the Netherlands. Eventually, I went back to where my heart lies: the catering industry. For 13 years I ran restaurant chez Eliza, where I worked together with Raymond Meere. Now I have been the proud owner of AndermansKeuken for 17 years.
